Hey y’all. I went to the dmv earlier today and they refused to renew my drivers license with the I-797c. Most forum said they will need i797a or b to renew while i797c is mostly a receipt.

Does anyone know what other documents would I need or will I have to wait until I get the EAD or green card to get the license renewed. I pretty much can’t drive anywhere from later this week.
