Hi,
I have done my bio-metrics on Aug 08, and I am still waiting to receive my interview appointment letter which I guess is going to take at least about 6 months (Dallas office). I did not apply for EAD when I sent my documents to the Chicago office. I am a Ph.D. student (F-1 visa) and I also work as a teaching fellow in my department.
So, now I'm wondering if I need to apply for the EAD or should I just wait for my interview and receiving my green card? I am applying for jobs now and I will start my new job around Aug 2016.
If anybody knows the answer to my question it will be appreciated.
