EAD and Driving Licence
Just wanted to share with someone. I received my EAd approval notices on Friday July 5 and today I went to DMV to renew my licence using the notice. I did not have the expired EAD which they asked for but all the information they needed was in the notice so it worked out. I can finally drive again. I don't know if the employer takes notices so I will just wait for the card to arrive and thank God they are able to take me back. Been a long long month.

Expedite through Congressman may 15th.... nothing fast and literally checked with them every week
Raised SR May 22. Responded May 29. Faxed docs same day. Nothing...
Employment ended June 5th. Took unpaid leave and updated them every week on progress
Called Uscis daily but could not tell me if they received my fax documents. I gave up but booked infopass.
June 26 infopass: the lady was unfriendly and tood me to give it another 109 days. I then now gave up and was waiting for the worst to happen. No money no health insurance no driving licence.
June 28 day 2 out of 109 lol. We ordered your card.
July 5 we mailed your card
July 8 picked by USPS
Hope it encourages someone. Don't give up. Do all you have to do.
