EAD approved after 105 days
Here is my experience:

- I arrived to the US under L-2 Visa on 08/10/2015
- I sent all my documentation (including the $380usd check) on 10/19/2015
- USCIS received my documentation on 10/21/2015 (the count starts from this date)
- I got an email on 10/26/2015 stating that my case was accepted
- I got the Form I-979C, Notice of Action on 10/29/2015 via USPS
- I filed an inquiry on 01/26/2016 (day 97) via phone call
- USCIS approved my EAD Card on 02/03/2016 (day 105)
- USCIS sent my EAD Card on 02/05/2016 (day 107)
- I received my EAD Card on 02/10/2016 (day 112)

- I was able to get a Social Security Number/Card (stating "VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION") on 11/24/2015; also got a Illinois State ID on 12/15/2015.
