I wanted to share my EAD renewal experience
Renewal Date (Receipt) - Aug 8th 2018 NBC
SR 1 - Feb 14th 2019 (No response)
SR 2 - Mar 18th 2019 (No response)
Expedite Request - April 18th 2019
Called Tier 2 officer and he accepted request. But later got letter stating request was denied. At the same time received an approval letter for Supplement J that was submitted as part of RFE for I485 long time back
Request through Congressman's office - May 3rd
EAD approved - May 8th
EAD received - May 16th
I am not sure if Tier 2 officer got the application moving or the congressman's office got it moving. But had to do whatever I could, to get the application moving again.
