08/31/18 – EAD card is being produced at National Benefit Center

Hi all, my last update was yesterday: My EAD card is being produced. Me and my husband called USCIs this Thursday (He talked to the officer). And we believe that this helped to move our case. We asked them why we got “case is ready to be scheduled for an interview’, previous to “Fingerprint was completed”, and how long it may take in generate the EAD card (we want to travel abroad soon). Their answer were 1) it doesn’t matter, 2) 5.5 to 6.5 months (as their website says) After that call, some online status that weren’t there appeared in my uscis account, and 3 days later they approved my EAD. It might be a coincidence, but I think that the call helped like if something were stuck. SO, do not hesitate in calling for your case. Good luck!
