Hello,
I applied for my EAD card and USCIS received my documents on December 10, 2014. However, whenever i check the case status online it says 'case has been received'. it was last updated on December 15. i called USCIS and the customer rep told me that she can file a biometric appointment (even though i told her i am an f 1 student and won't need biometrics) she said they will let you know if you do or not and if not then they can give you an update on your case. however, on january 24th i received a notice saying that my case does not need biometrics. i then contacted my local congressman to check if they could expedite my case since i have a job offer pending since january and they keep extending week by week waiting for my ead card. my congressman sent a request but replied to me today that USCIS denied expedite request since processing times are 90 days. till today the case status is case has been received. I am really worried, I don't know by when I can expect the card. does anyone have similar application dates and has received the card? Please let me know..
