EAD category C3 to C9
Has anyone tried switching their EAD application category after it’s been submitted? I submitted mine as C3 (OPT) and I was told by the USCIS agent that I need to change it to C9 since I have submitted it with I-485. I had an OPT approved prior to that.
They suggested I just submit a letter with a copy of the receipt notice. Has anyone done anything like this before? Did it work?
