EAD does not always come with SSN
Whoever is reading it, I thought you might find this helpful. We applied combo last October and got EAD cards on hand around January. Waiting 2 weeks after and still no SSN card. (Yes we checked the SSN checkbox on I-765 form). We ended up visiting the Social Security office and applied for one. And we got it in 2 weeks.
