Ead expedite
Hi guys, so my current ead under f1 opt was expiring in Dec 9th so I filed for EAD expedite under i485 pending on Nov 27th but did not hear back from USCIS asking for proof or anything. I contacted my Senator’s office so but didn’t hear back from them as well after they promised me to contact the Uscis. So i chat with online representative on Dec 4th and they submitted another expedite request for me but so far, nothing. The case status says it hasn’t been assigned to an officer yet for expedite. I even contacted the Ombudsman’s office but nothing again.
I contacted uscis again and they just told me to wait and I cannot do anything about it since it’s pending so my question is how long does it normally take for Uscis to contact me after I submit a request. Is there anyway to make this process easier? I already lost my job and it’s been very frustrating. Please help!
