EAD expedited
I filed in the first days of January 2018, and my EAD was going to expire in early May. I was in the panic mode recently as I was waiting to get my EAD. It is employment based by the way.
Thank to the people here, I learnt that I can expedite it. My lawyer did not know this, which is funny. I called the Senator office and told them that I am going to lose the job. They were super helpful and told me to immediately send them the suspension letter that I got from the employer. I sent them all the documents they asked and 2 business days later I got an email they my EAD is approved. Got the card in the mail in 6 business days.
For those waiting and have job offer or have a job that they may lose, you can call the senator, congressman or ombudsman to request the expedite. Also, you can call USCIS and request the expedite yourself.
