So this is my experience when I reapplied for a EAD renewal.
I sent out the documents on Aug 5 and I had very little time because my old cars was gonna expire on Aug,12. Then a week later I received 3 letters concerning my case.
One was from USCIS saying that they created an account and it also contained login username and password (never created it)
Econ’s letter was to tell me that they will be able to use my fingerprints already on file and no need to go in for bio appointment.
Third one was my actual receipt for I-765, I grabbed the letter my old EAD card and expired DL to DMV and they renew my license for up to 6 months.
Yesterday I got a notification that my card is being produced and soon will be shipped out. So far it has been 3 weeks and change for EAD renewal.
