EAD renewal aos
My EAD and license got stolen in wallet . Recently moved to Connecticut . Filed a police report and sent the expedite request to USCIS as my EAD renewal was submitted in Jan 2018 and is expiring in April end 2018.
I was told at dmv that I can’t get a replacement license until I present my EAD card and the job is giving me hard time to present the original EAD card in order to confirm that I am still eligible to work after April end. A copy of EAD will not work. I just have one month to have EAD but I am completely helpless due to not able to drive or so anything. Our application has been pending since Jan 2017 and I had hope with this move hopefully we will get interview sooner but nothing so far. Any suggestion on how to get License or EAD expedite again especially when USCIS respond saying they don’t think it’s urgent enough to expedite the request when I filed for way advance in January. Any filers from Connecticut field office? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all.
