Hi folks,
I've been struggling about my case for long time, and I will share my timeline, pretty please give me some advice if you are in the same boat.
F1 visa student
Request address change on 07/13/18
OPT got approved on 07/14/18, got the letter with my receipt number.
EAD got send back to USCIS on 08/06/18 as it's undeliverable.
Called and filed a SR on 08/07/18 and got an email the next day from USCIS about confirm my request.
Got an email on 08/21/18 says they have requested the card be resent to your updated address. If I do not receive the my EAD card within 30 days then contact them again.
I've been calling every week to see if my card has been resent. but the status on USCIS website stating as my card got sent back to USCIS as undeliverable.
Every time I call, 5 people give me 5 different answer. some say I just have to wait after 30 days from 08/21, some say it will take up to 45 days, some even told me the waiting could be the max 150 days.
They told me every time that my card is not destroyed, it just hasn't reshipped yet. and they don't know when it will be shipped, I just really don't know how long will I wait, and this is very frustrating just as you all have been experiencing.
I called an attorney this afternoon, he says there's really no way to expedite this, just wait. I tried to make an appointment at the local office, but I think they are nor offering info pass service at this moment.
I just need my card so badly!
