EAD-Resent Card timeline
Hi- Just wanted to share my experience since reading this forum was so helpful to me!
I-485/I-131/ I-786 Marriage based to get greencard and EAD. Start date of 3/26/19. NBS center. EAD got approved 8/31 and sent to us 9/1. It got sent back to USCIS as undelivered as it was sent to our old address. Make sure to update every application MSC number with your new address. The card got resent to USCIS 9/10/19. I set up a request to resend card on 9/1/19. I got a response from USCIS that it would be resent on 9/24/19. They asked us not to contact them for another 120 days. After 6 weeks; we finally got the card resent on 10/31 and we received it today 11/2! The resent card was not updated in USCIS website. I got notice only through USPS Informed delivery that something was coming my way. The tracking number was only through USPS- so I highly recommend signing up for this. In the end- the USCIS website was not updated when the card was resent. I hope others find this info helpful. I was so stressed for so long- but now we have it! Thank god! I also wrote a note on my mailbox for the postal worker to come to my door or call me!
