EAD & SSN
I hope you are doing well. I want to share my experience and hopefully, it will help those waiting their EAD and SSN. (I’m sorry its kinda long but I want to make it as helpful as possible)

Timeline:

02/05th: Applications received (I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-131).
03/03rd: Biometrics were taken.
03/27th: I-485 Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

04/10th: Expedite request for I-765 on the phone based on severe financial loss (and having a job offer).
04/10th: Faxed the Job offer and a cover letter explaining how losing this job may cause financial hardship.
04/10th: Expedite request received.

It took four weeks with no response, at the time I used to contact USCIS on a daily basis and their answer was just WAIT. (One of the most stressful time in my life)

05/01st: Sent a follow-up request.
05/01st: Contacted the congresswoman to request an expedite.
05/07th: New card is being produced.
05/08th: Case was approved.
05/13th: Card was delivered to me by the post office.

Part two of the story. (SSN)

I contacted the local SSA to check if they have my info in the system but they didn't. I couldn’t wait for the offices to reopen, so I called so many offices across the US and one suggested that I should fax my local office a “Dire need request for face-to-face appointment” and include a letter from my employer saying that is not possible to employ me without SSC ( IT SHOULD STATE CARD AND NUMBER NOT JUST NUMBER). So I asked my employer for it and faxed them.

Thankfully the office manager contacted and asked me to come to the office the next day, I went and gave him my Passport and EAD along with the SS_5 application (outside in the street). He went inside and came back with the receipt notice, he said it will take from one to two weeks to receive the card,
During normal times, we can go to the office the next day to get the number but now with this pandemic, we obviously can't and it depends if the manager is a nice person to give it the next day.

Lol I feel like I wrote an essay.

Good luck guys. :)
