I applied for the renewal of my EAD around November 2018 and got the receipt notice by the 20th of Nov. then I went to get my fingerprints on Dec 13, 2018. Since then, my status on the case tracker is still "Case has been Received. We had sent you a receipt notice." It is April 11, 2019 now and I still haven't got approval letter or rejection letter. It is very nerve breaking. I checked Processing times for I-765 last month, it was 4.5-6.5 months. Now it has already increased to 5-7 months! I don't know what to do now. My driver license will be expired soon and the DMV said I can't renew it without my EAD card.
Why is it taking so long for a renewal?! I don't know what is happening with USCIS right now... Anyone has similar experience which can be shared?
