EAD - without it?
Hi there,
I filled my I-765 on Sep14, received by authorities on Sep 18th. I did not receive any letter with my case number. I called on Oct 16th. I was advised that a letter was sent to me with the case number. However, they couldn’t tell me where it did they sent it to as the address in the system had been updated two days after the letter was sent. I was also advised over the phone that another letter had been sent on Oct 10th requesting proof of evidence. In this case, to the correct address, but I still haven’t got it. They couldn’t tell me over the phone what the letter was requesting me. I was told to wait and they would be sending a second request on a month time from Oct 10th.
I checked my case online and again with an agent over the phone. I was then told that a certified copy of the original letter has been issued on Oct 10th but it was not posted until Oct 31st. I haven’t received anything yet.
I have moved homes from my initial address back in Sep 14th. It was changed to the new one on Oct 24th . However, as per today, nothing has been received in neither of the two places.
Would anyone know what type of evidence do you think I could be asking for?
What would be happening if I start working without my EAD?
I would greatly appreciate your comments, as this process is a test to my tolerance.
