EB3 (from NY) - Timing?
Hi all,
I am based in NY. Filed my i485 and i140 concurrently on 11/17/2015 with expedited processing. I applied as EB3 (just for myself; no spouse). My priority date (when PERM was filed is April 2015).
I have questions regarding timing for an EB3 person like myself from NY:
- Priority date: April 2015
- I485 and i140 filed on Nov 17 2015
- when should i expect my biometric exam?
- when should i expect EAD card? how many months from the day i file the i485 and i140?
- for an EB3, is there really an interview? or does that only pertain to ppl with spouse. i filed just for my self.
- when am i able to really say i have the green card and is the last step in the process? is it after i get my EAD card?
- any other key dates/events you would add and what the timing for those are?
i realize there is no concrete timing but wanted to get some data points to get an estimate. Also i realize that an RFE could delay the process.
