Adjustment of Status - I-485

Hello you all. I want to share my experience with all you. I sent my application back in April 2017 to adjust my status from student to permanent resident under base marriage, I did my biometrics on may, I was also requested to send initial evidence because I forgot one form to send with my whole package.
My employment authorization was approved on July, and our interview was this past week, pretty much is very similar to your guys stories. They asked us how we met , how long we dated. We talked about the wedding, our plans and our parents. The immigration officer was very nice, it felt no pressure at all and it was very friendly, at the end he said that everything looks fine and it takes three weeks for them to give me an answer.
By then I didn't know if that meant that we were going to be approved or my case was held for review, he didn't give us any paper stating the status of my application.
Today I received two emails one directed to my spouse stating that the petition was approved and the other one directed to me saying the same.
My advise is this :
Every single case is so different , every officer is different, these experiences we are posting are just guides for us to have a better understanding to what to expect, my journey was unique and so are yours. Keep your mind positive, the process is slow and for some people even slower. Don't give up, keep pushing forward.
