F1 OPT EAD
Timeline-

13 June 2017 F1 OPT EAD I765 Application Received by USCIS

Day 5
Case is being Reviewed and Receipt notice sent. I received Text message.
Never Received physical Receipt Notice I797.

Day 78
SR#1 Raised - "Approaching Committed Processing Time" - Told to expect response in 30 days

Day 85
SR#2 Raised - "Expedite Request"

Day 88
Expedite Request Denied

Day 93
SR#3 Raised - "Exceeded Committed Processing Time" - Told that normal processing times have been changed from 90 days to 180 days (6 months!!!!)

By now, I was out of my mind. There was simply no way I can wait that long.

Day 95
Visited local congressman office and explained my case. He said he'll call USCIS.

Day 96
Status Changed to "New Card is being Produced"

So in the end, if you are over 90 days, just seek congressman's help.

I went from being told to wait potentially for 6 months to card produced in 1 day!

Thanks!
