Hi! Just sharing my timeline trying to help and give hope to others!
First of all my cpt expires may 18th. 2020
USCIS received my application March 16th. 2020
First week of May I got promoted to 2 different positions. 1 of them for safety Compliance manager, related to coronavirus.
I called USCIS on may 1st. I tried to expedite process, my reasons were due to financial situation and job related to decrease spread of COVID-19. May 3th they denied it because international students can't apply for expedited service because of financial situation.
I called again that same day and tried again and didn't mention financial situation, only job helping with the pandemic.
They didn't reply. I had contacted my congressman since the first time I requested the expedite service, he took 1 week to reply. And when he did my first request has been denied. So I gave it a shot, and tried getting his help too. He couldn't give me a letter or anything but they requested an expedite service on my behalf and he said USCIS would see that it was coming from his office. They asked for the job offer letter, I never got any notice saying expedite was approved or a request for proof or anything. 2 days later my case was approved. May 8th 2020.

May 11th I got the notice in my mail saying I'm approved to work starting may 18th 2020 and I'm just waiting for the card to arrive. Hopefully I will receive it this week.

One thing I never stopped doing, was believing in God. I never stopped praying and having faith and hope that even though I only had 2 more weeks left for my current EAD to expire. And my 1st expedite was denied and I had no more time left, I never stopped praying and asking God's help.
Just ask him! Whatever you need.. with all your heart and to do good and He will give it to you.

Ok bye
Hope this helpsssss a little bit

Don't loose faith!!!
