F2 visa rejected
I recently applied for an F2 dependent visa to visit my wife who is currently studying in the US. The VO asked me a few questions.

Me: Good afternoon Sir
VO: No response

VO: pass me your documents
Me: Provided passport and both I-20s

VO: What's your wife doing in the US
Me: Explained with details

VO: How is she funding her studies
Me: She got a student loan and our savings. Recently she also got a graduate assistantship job.

VO: What kind of job is that
Me: Explained in detail

VO: What do you do?
Me: I'm a senior software engineer working for company x (explained some of the job responsibilities)

VO: How will manage your job
Me: I'll be on unpaid leave for 3 months that has already been approved and I can provide an approval letter.

VO: Does a lot of typing
VO: unfortunately I cannot give you a visa and hand over a pink slip

I honestly felt bad since my wife has been stressed out and she genuinely needs my support. I regretted why we chose the USA for her studies.
My intentions were very genuine because I have a good-paying job here in my country yet I was denied.

Any advice please, this is crushing me.

Should I reapply and hope to find a different VO or should I pursue the route of F1 as well?
