Finally got approved.
Filed for AOS (based on marriage to USC) in June 2019.

Interview in St Bernardino field office in October 2020 (Originally scheduled in March but canceled due to quarantine)

The interview went well I suppose.
Basically, they only asked formal questions from the forms.
In the end, they separated us for about 10 min and asked the names of our cats and what we ate last night.
The officer seemed to be bored and not interested at all.
Furthermore, there was a glass screen between us and we wore masks - I guarantee he could not hear a word.
He never even looked at us mostly drawing some doodles.
It was the weirdest experience in my life.

After that complete silence.
Raised two service requests. None of them was answered at all.

Contacted Senator in February 2021
Approved 4 weeks later.
