FINALLY got EAD
I finally got my EAD card in hand today! I felt it, made sure it was real, had my dog sniff it to verify. Thanks be to God. After 133 days of waiting!

Let me tell y'all about the Odyssey this has been, and hopefully this will help/encourage someone here, because if it wasn't for this forum, I'd still be waiting for this card.

PD: Nov 28

If they had gone by the 75 day processing time, I would have been approved/gotten it by about February 11. But it took exactly 100 days for them to approve it, March 8. They mailed it out on March 14. On March 17, my post office sent it back because of how they'd addressed it (the format they used for my name was weird) and it didn't get back there until March 29.

From March 21 until April 5 I was on the phone almost every day, sometimes two/three times a day with USCIS customer service, trying to find out when I'd get my card sent back out. I sent an e-request and one of the customer service reps opened on for me as well. I was told I would get an answer by March 27, then I was told to wait until April 5. Several of the agents were rude. When I called back on April 5, was 128 days past my PD, I was told I would have to wait until April 20 just to get an estimate as to when they would send my card out.

As soon as I got off the phone, I called my Congressman's office. I was expecting another labyrinth of bureaucracy, but I was on the phone less the 10 minutes, most of which I spent explaining my situation to a very helpful guy there. He sent me an email with the paperwork to fill out (really a one page form) less than five minutes after. That evening I filled it out, scanned it and sent it back with a statement attached explaining my issue again. I made sure I included dates and number of days waiting alongside each date. The next morning, which was this past Thursday, he told me he got it, and he'd send an inquiry. I prayed really hard that night, lol. The morning of April 7, I got an email from him, with USCIS's reply, which they stated they would be mailing out my card. I checked my online portal (really just to verify my address) and it had updated to 'My Card has been Mailed'. Today, April 10, it arrived by priority mail.

Don't give up, if you're in a position that seems impossible. I've read experiences on here that made my heart hurt. Explore all your options and be like water; there's always a way around. Yes, you'll have to wait sometimes. But never let defeat get the better of you. I honestly didn't think going through my congressman would work. And I thought I'd be waiting at least another week. I didn't expect to get my card until the end of the month, at best.

I wish everyone the best of luck :-)
