Hello,
I am an Indian working in USA and I had a F1 to H1B COS last year. I am a full time employee in a reputed firm. I am planning to go for my first H1B stamping in Canada. However, my Immigration is recommending to go to India and get stamped since this is the first stamping.
Technically, is it allowed to go to Canada for first H1B stamping? If yes, what can I expect from the stamping experience perspective like duration etc.
