:FLEX: Easy interview :FLEX:
Setting the scene: The person in front of me was rejected for sounding scared, she cried immediately upon rejection. I capitalised on this negative environment and came in positive!

Me: Hi, How are you?
CO: Im doing fine, how about you?
Me: Great Thanks!

Begins typing into form

CO: *to himself* date 31st
Me: Happy Halloween!
CO: Happy Halloween!

CO: So your intentions?
Me: Tourism and meeting my girlfriend.
[Bearing in mind this will be the first time i meet my girlfriend, *wasn't asked and he doesnt know*]
CO: Landing in Nashville?
Me: Yeah, her mother will be picking me up and I will be staying at her place, at: *location of residence*
CO: Cool, So youre in the university of...
Me: Manchester. *I interrupt* I notice your lanyard, what did you study at the university of Chicago.
CO: Business, my wife and kids make me wear it so everyone knows *I laugh*, and yourself?
Me: Chemical Engineering
CO: *speaking to himself, whilst typing* First year due to finish 2021, doing a masters *looks over to me*
Me: Yep

CO: When do you intend on travelling?
Me: December 2017, want the specific date and times?
CO: No, that'll be fine, For how long do you intend to stay?
Me: 7 days
CO: Why only 7?
Me: [I was super happy when he asked this] I have a 4 week break in December, I intend on returning and spending the remaining 3 weeks studying for my exams in January. [This gave him proof that i had intent of returning back to the UK]
CO: Smart.
Me: Thanks, I try my best.

At this point we get interrupted by the girl that had been rejected before me, she was demanding for her photo, but he told her you cant have it back. Im sorry but you need to leave now. [During this I tried to show that I wasn't paying attention as to respect the privacy of the individual, of course i was listening.]

CO: Sorry lets continue, So youre born in Kirkuk.
Me: Yeah, I believe this is the reason I cannot be approved through esta.

ESTA is the electronic visa authentication which can be used by many european countries, in the eyes of America i am a dual british-iraqi national so I cannot use the Esta service.

CO: You are correct, How many times have you applied via esta?
Me: Twice, Once before Trump became president and the other after his executive order.
CO: Lets see why they were denied, *looking on computer*. Its simply because you were born in Kirkuk.
Me: I figured.
CO: When did you come to the UK?
Me: Aged 3, 2004.
CO: Have you been to iraq?
Me: Other than when i was born, no.
CO: Iran, Syria...
Me: *I Interupt* Libya, Somalia, Sudan or Yemen?
CO: Laughs
Me: Negative!
CO: *Begins typing* On that note, Im granting you a 10 year b1/b2 visa.
Me: Thank you very much
CO: This is exclusively for travel, if for any reason 5 years later you intend on starting a business then your visa will be
Me: *I interupt again* Revoked
CO: Exactly!
Me: I am aware of the consequences, and dont plan on playing with the law.
CO: Safe travels in December.
Me: Thank you very much, have a wonderful day and a nice halloween with your kids!

I wasn't expecting any trouble since my visa was to confirm Im not a threat to the country, because of where I was born.
