Hi Everyone,
So my journey has ended for now.
PD December 9
FO Boston
I had my interview on Oct 21st. We were separated that day. I was a bit nervous because of that but I have been with my husband for 7 years so I wasn't too worried. The officer was nice. He asked me questions from the form then asked me where i met my husband and when, how many bedrooms and bathrooms in the apartment, if we have a shower curtain or glass door and how many windows in the bedroom we sleep in, what we use the spare bedroom for, if i have tattoos and if my husband has any, if any of us had a car accident, since we got married, and if we have a washer and drier and if its staked or not, if we had dinner together the night before and why not. if either of us have a food or any allergy.There was a couple things we didnt answer the same like i said we didnt have dinner together cause he was at a friends house and my husband said he was with his dad (which he was but then went to his friends house). Anyways i was a bit upset at my husband lol but the officer said we did good and we should expect a letter in the mail within 3 weeks but probably sooner. the next day i had emails saying they had taken an action but i never had everything updated until today. but i think it was the next day (22nd or 23rd) that i got the letter for approval and on the 28th i received my green card. so it went pretty fast as soon as we had the interview. im so glad its over for now. i only got a 2 years cause we have been married for a year only. i brought to the interview our wedding album, and our taxes filed together and lease from this year and more recent pics. he took those and looked at the album and then i said i had more leases from the previous years but i dint know it he wanted them cause i think i had already submitted them before and he said yes i had already submitted a lot of evidence.
