I had my AOS interview last week. The wait was tense, we waited for almost 2 hours. The interview didn't last more than 1 minutes, the officer was serious but very polite, approved on the spot, not many questions as our marriage is legit. The interview was last thursday nov 7, and 2 days ago I got the update that the card is being produced. Last friday I got the EAD but haven't received the SSN. The officer said that once I get the GC I could apply for SSN at the SSN office, but I called today to USCIS and they said they can take up to 60 days to send the GC, and also called the SSN and they indicated that they could take up to 2 months to issue my SSN number/card. Any advice? my lawyer said that I have to keep waiting.
