Adjustment of Status - I-485

Hello group I’m excited to share my experience , I’ve been following this forum since last year , Same sex marriage, my PD was July 2019, I got my EDA approved in February 2020, interview scheduled for March 23rd 2020, and cancelled due covid, and then a long wait till October 1st the scheduled my interview for October 20th (last Tuesday) we were really excited and nervious, our interview was scheduled at 8am, we got there at 7:40 and made line to check in, we were the 1st couple in the line, when we got in we were waiting for an hour in the seats, and finally they call us at 9am , it was such a nice lady, she apologize for taking really long , she explain us her kids are doing online school and it’s been really difficult for her, I feel it was really good to break the ice, our interview last only 15 min, she asked were we meet, I came here with tourist visa , but she didn’t ask , she also asked if our parents were okay when we got married, we were honest and tell her they didn’t like it at all cause they were not in our wedding, we showed her our apartment lease and she said my green card will be mail to me in 2 weeks , we were really excited but I was concerned cause my status didn’t updated at all, and today I checked the mail and found the approval letters and the green card!! We are so excited because it only took 5 days, thank you for all your experiences. I hope the best for all of you!! And never give up!
