Hello everyone,

I sincerely want to thank everyone in this forum as it was such great help for me even when i was down and confused as some point. here is my timeline.

Married my souse September 2018
Nov 12th 2018 filled all forms i485, i765 and i130 concurrently
my application was sent back because the credit card could not be charged, resent package again and my Pd became Nov 29, 2018.
Bio-metrics: Dec 24,2018 { i went in but the office was closed due to government shutdown/Christmas eve}
January 7th : new bio-metrics appointment
then the wait began.
April 2019: received RFE for Sponsor's job offer letter and pay stubs. also my wife didn't fill out the form i864, i thought she didn't have to
May 4 2019: i tried to expedite through congressman, i filled out a privacy release form. i was expediting based on 3 job offers. after 2 weeks i called congressman's office but they were rude and i don't think they actually did anything.
June 3rd 2019: I called uscis myself and expedited it and they asked i fax over evidences i had{ so apparently the congressman never did anything or put in any word in at all} and after doing that i waited.
June 26 2019: I got an email stating card in production, i couldn't be more than happy.
JUne 28 2019: Interview scheduled for July 24th
july 2nd 2019: i received card in hand.

July 24: arrived 30 mins earlier and got checked in and was seated.{ Try arriving on time to avoid delays such as traffic delays}

After about 47 mins we were called in by the Interviewing officer and went to her office.
She welcomed us warmly and had us swore to an oath, after which she begun with my wife who is the petitioner. She went over the i130 questions and then moved over to me with the i485 yes/no questions, after which she dropped the ball
How did you both meet? she said either of us could answer the questions
When did you get married?
who was present there?
why did you both decide to get married?
what we both have in common?
have we met each others parents and what are their name? she asked me of my wife's mother's name and vice versa.
where did you propose to her?
what is my wife's occupation and how much she make
how many siblings does my wife have/ what are our 5 year goals and plan
after which she said she was done and asked if we had any questions, keep in mind we went fully prepared and prayed well too.
Ans so, we had two huge photo albums and a note attached to each photo explaining the event of the photos
we also had with us a big folder of about 60 pages that contained every joint thing that we have ever done/had and we asked her that we would like her to kindly go through the evidences and she was amazed of the amount of content and detailed they are.(we went as far as attaching receipts of gifts we bought each other}
Keep in mind, when i first got into the office i was kind of nervous but i eased up while being asked the i485 questions and i and my wife were not too affectionate we just flowed naturally because its genuine and there's no need trying hard to overly display affection.
while she was going through the folders and evidences submitted we were highlighting somethings for her and asked her to try out the restaurant we had our first date.
after she was done going through the folders she kept some and took about 5 pictures and gave us a white paper saying our case will be reviewed and went ahead to ask if we had any questions again and we said no we did not.
She thanked us and we walked out the office.
August 5 2019: got an email saying interview was completed and case must be reviewed.
August 7 2019, 11:50 p.m------ Card in production
August 14th 2019---------- Card in Hand

It has been a wonderful and tedious phase but the end is always positive.
also, we did not use a lawyer and i explained to the IO that we didn't have joint insurance because i had not gotten my ssn and was unable to get some evidences such as insurance and certain things but i already will be putting for an insurance with my new job for i and my wife.

Field office: Baltimore MD

please reach out to me for any questions as i would happily assist anyone with questions.

thank you
