Apparently some of the officers at TSC don't give a damn about the timeline of the application and the date when the rule when into effect.
My wife's I-485 was filed alongside mine the second week of July 2016. She took her medical test back in July 2016. The gonorrhea rule went into effect starting Aug 1 2016.
YET she received a RFE for gonorrhea test.
So folks, irrespective of when you filed your application and medical get the gonorrhea test done. Will save you some time.
