Getting nervous...
Do they request for INITIAL EVIDENCE from everyone? Is this standard process? What is this about? I received a notice (online) that they've mailed a RIE but still haven't received it, so I don't really know what they're requesting for.
Someone commented on one of my posts that this delays the process. If so, is this normal?
Below has been my timeline so far.
Marriage based petition
10/04/16 - Dropped off packet at post office
10/05/16 - Packet received in Mail Room
10/06/16 - Application was accepted (Also PD)
10/21/16 - 3 checks were cashed
10/25/16 - NOA / Receipt Notices for I-130 and I-485 were received (no texts or emails even though we've
filled out the notification form)
10/28/16 - Biometrics Appt notice received
*11/04/16 - Received text that my has been updated. Checked online it it says that they mailed a REQUEST FOR INITIAL EVIDENCE. I checked the mail but have not received anything.
*11/08/16 - Biometrics Appt*
