Getting our B1/B2 for the Entire Family
We had a family appointment at the US Consulate in Mumbai on 28 July, 2015 at 1:30 pm. Dad, Mom, Grandmom who is 81 years old and myself appeared for the interview.
Post that from 1 month I had been super scared about getting the visa. I had prepared like a bunch of all documents for dad's business, grandmoms rental income, agreement statements etc and the interview went as follows : ( Taken Gujarati language interview - but dad answered in english)

VO: Good Afternoon , may i have your Passports ?
Dad: Sure
VO; Why do you want to visit USA
Dad : my sister is there and I want to visit here and do some sightseeing in CA
VO: What do you do here
Dad: I have my own business - explained
VO: You ( Pointing to me) , What do you do ?
Me: I head sales in an IT company
VO: Have you visited any country previously
Me: Yes, Bhutan
VO: surprised !! - Of all countries Bhutan ??
Me: Dad wanted to go there for a holiday
VO: Typing something on computer
VO: Your visa has been approved !! Thank You and Hope you have a great time in the US
Thats it - 10 yr visa - No paperwork shown.
