H1B, H4 Visa

thanks for every body for posting your experiences in this forum. It is helping everybody alot.

I attended interview at Chennai consulate on 15th Dec 2006.

I submitted all the documents to VO.

VO: hi h ru
me : good maam, h r u doing
VO: no response
VO: on which project u r going to work in US?
me: I am going to work in inhouse project of **** company.
VO: do u have any doc regarding project?
ME: no maam , my employer didn't send me anything regarding this, as this is confidential.
VO: can u show me ur Master's Degree?
Me: i showed my convocation and marks sheet.
VO: can u show me ur bachelor degree?
Me: i showed my bachelor degree.
(Friends do not tell ur qualification like MCA, tell it completely like Master of Computer Applications)
VO: can u show me tax returns of ur employer?
Me: maam, i didn't have them. (my employer didn't send me tax returns and project description, they said it is not required for their firm).
VO: is that also confidential. (seriously)
VO: gave me 221(g) query .
Me : Thank U maam;

Friends don't go to the interview without project itinarary and tax returns of ur employer.

So many persons on 15th Dec got query, due to the lack of these documents.

Two of my friends also got queried for the same thing.

Even if ur employer tells you that, it is not required, insist him to send these docs.

I observed in other counters also every VO is asking for Project Description/letter from client stating on which project u r going to work,
