H1B, H4 Visa

hi guys,

thanks to the people who had posted their experiences here, its really helpful to me.

i had interview at mumbai us consulate yesterday(23/8/2005) for h1b visa(2006 quota).

the interview was so simple, the consular just ask about few things like,

1. Which company r u going to join?
2. Where is the company?
3. What is your salart?
4. What the company do?
-> Ask for the documents from my company, (tax statements)
5. How you find this job?
6. What is your exp.? (means what will be your responsilities)
7. Where r u working, and what do u do there?
-> Ask for degree certificate...

i was the fourth in the queue, and all the guys b4 me and even one after me got the visas...

its really simple if you have ready all the documents and if you are confident... and also keep eye contact and proper body language with consular during interview...
