Hi All,
First of all Thanks for this website. And Thanks for all

the people who shared their experiences at Consulate.

Let me share my own experience, so that other would get

benefitted as i did.

My first interview was on Dec 5th 2005 at 3.00 pm.
My conversion went on like this.

Me: Good Afternoon Sir.
VO: Good Afternoon.

I gave all my documents.

VO: Where are going to work.
Me: YYYY company

VO: which place you are going to work in USA?
Me: xxx place

VO:For which client are you going to work?
Me: They (my employer) has couple of clients viz. abc,xyz

etc. I am going to work for any one is this clients.

VO: So, you are not certain that you are going to work for a

particular client?
I took a blue from and starting writing on it. I could not

realize what was happening. I was thinking something is going

wrong.

VO: He issued me 221(g) and said "you are certain about the

client letter. He said you don't have the proper document

about client.
Get me the Client details and come back on those days

mentioning the dates on the 221(g).

Me: I have this documents.
VO: No. You don't have. It is over come back again with docs.

I should my disappointment there itself( Later I realized

that it is not right to do so).

I came back disappointed.

Came back my home town. I explained about this to my

Employer. My Employer told me that he would provide me with

proper documents. But he took around 5 months.

I went to Consulate again on 4th May 2006 with all the docs.

This time VO was a lady.

I was the first person in the line. The conversion went on

like this.

VO: So, what was the reply to the last query?
Me: I gave all the documents saying. I am provided with

Project Management Plan and Project Schedule.

VO: She has seen the docs. She asked whether I am going to

work for xxx client.
Me: Yes. I am going to work for xxx client.

VO: Do you have letter from end client. I need a letter from

the supervisor from end client stating that you are going to

work for them.

Me: No.

Vo: She marked another query and get the letter from the

supervisor of the end client and come back again.

Me: Ok. Thank you very much.

By this time i got habituated with the Queries. It became

normal for me.

I went back again on 7th june 2006 with client letter.

Stood in line. He was a cool person aged around 52 yrs. I

already seen couple of VOs by this time. I thought my visa is

confirmed. But again thought let me see.

my interview went on this way.

Me: Good Morning Sir. How are you ?
VO: Good Morning.

I gave the required documents.

She was going through all the documents.

VO: How much you are paid?
Me: xxx dollars/annum.

He has gone through all the documents very carefully. I think

he also called US to client. But as it was late night for

them. No would have lift the phone of client.

VO: He came back. You will get your passport along with visa.

Go and pay the DD.

Me: Thank you very much.
VO: Welcome.

I could not believe it becoz most of the times i am told to

come back again.

I paid the DD and now today i got the passport with visa

stamped in it.

What is think is a good documentation is very important in

the consulate. That's the first priority.

I once again Thank you all for sharing their experiences. All the Best for everyone.
