My Dad's version of the interview:

A - good afternoon
Q - hello, hi
Q - Why do you want to go toUS
A - I want to see my son as well as your GREAT country.
Q - What do you do, are you employed or in business?
A - I said i am a chartered acct.
Note: She could not catch it, she reapeated her question.
Q - are you employed?
A - I am a financial consultant, professional, self employed.
Q - how many clients you have
A - about NNN.
Q - How much you make out of it in a year.
A - N thousands/lakhs
Q - What is your son doing at US
A - he is employed and he has sent lot of papers, they are here.
Q - I want only the first sheet
Note: she might have noticed thru glass window the first sheet is form I-134
A - I gave the sponsor form.
Q - How many children you have.
A - Two sons , the other one is studying for ABC Degree
Q - Where
A - In mumbai, Bombay university.
Q - How long you want to stay.
A - NN days.
Q - You have asked for 3 months (Note: more than NN days in previous answer)Why?
A - My son wants me to stay for 3 months, but I can't. My client business will get affected.
Q - How long your wife will stay there?
A - At the most 1 month, after all we are living together for NN years, she may not like to live separately.

She laughed, a heartily laugh
Q - I am giving you visa for N years, please go ahead.

She was an american of middle age, fair and goodlooking,
A - thanks.

Note: My wife was not asked a single question, She was with me and she also thanked the lady and we came out.

Summary:
It was a good experience, unnecessarily we carried all house documents orignal and all income papers original.
The whole interview would not have lasted more than 3 minutes.
