5/9/16 Interview
5/12/16 Email notification: I30 and I 495 have been approved and approval notice has been mailed.

The interview was scheduled for 7:45 am and we arrived 30 minutes prior. We were called and sworn in. The IO asked my husband what his DOB and birth place was, his full name, asked for ID, asked if we had children or if I was pregnant, asked him to recognize his signature in the application, asked if he knew what visa I last entered the country with, my DOB (he got it wrong but corrected himself), and my hometown (couldn't pronounce it properly). Also asked him for an employer verification letter, which we had. Then she moved on to me and asked my husband's full name, DOB, my address, my full name, DOB, hometown, visa I last entered the U.S. With, my last employer, who I lived with in my last address, who lives with me in my current Address, when we got engaged, did the yes/ no questions, asked for any anything I eould like to have added in the file. I gave her my photo album to look at and my wedding invitation and menu, showed her some postcards I sent him while I traveled, and gave her our joint tax return. Shetook a lot of pictures from the album for the file. Then asked how we met. She explained how the removal of condition works, and said she woukd review the application and would approve the case within 5 days if everything was well.

I did the whole application by mylself, didn't use a lawyer at all, never got an RFE. My best advice is for people to follow the instructions given on the forms to a T. A lot of times I see posts here about RFE's being received for things that are explicity detailed on the forms. I know it's hard but be patient too.
