Went for my interview today at the Denver office and got there an hour to the interview. While waiting to be called, I saw that some people's spouse that were called in together were sent back but I was not worried. When the time came, the male office came to get myself and my husband. He was really chatty with us. He asked for our id, passport, social security card, and my work permit so he could make a copy of everything on one page. He started off by asking my husband details about his information ( date of birth, employment, home addresses, etc) in the form we had submitted and also asked him my own name and date of birth. He was very detailed. He then asked about our cultural differences being from different African cultures. He also verified my information and was very detailed. He asked about how we met and our life as a married couple. The interview went well because we've been together since 2012 even though we got married last year and thus know everything about each other. Our answers were natural and he confirmed it.
After the verification, he said he just needs to look through some more forms but does not foresee any problems in approving us. He said he was initially skeptical about some of the different addresses we had on file but after the interview and explanation of why we moved a lot, believes we are legit.
On our way back, he called to verify our address so they could send us our green card! The green card has been approved and is being processed for delivery.
