Green card in hand
Hi all,

I've followed a lot of great advice on this forum and it's made the process feel seamless and smooth. I finally have my conditional gc in hand for a marriage based i-485 application. It's been a long 20 years of living in uncertainty and then finally being on DACA for the latter part of it. Now I'm happily married and ready to move on with my life. Thought I'd share my timeline:

Local FO - Fresno, CA

Aug 17, 2018 - Sent out i-130, i-131, i-485, i-765 forms in the mail via attorney
Aug 20, 2018 - Priority date
Sep 10, 2018 - RFE received for birth certificate (needed both original and english translated)
Sep 12, 2018 - RFE response mailed out
Sep 14, 2018 - Biometrics notice received for 28th September.
Sep 17, 2018 - RFE response received by USCIS
Sep 19, 2018 - Biometrics (walk-in)
Sep 20, 2018 - Status changed to "Fingerprint review was completed"
Feb 04, 2019 - Received Combo card EAD/AP
Mar 18, 2019 - Interview notice received in mail
Apr. 18, 2019 - Interview taken at Fresno office
Apr. 22, 2019 - Left for an international honeymoon vacation with wife and AP card
Apr. 30, 2019 - Card went into production while still at honeymoon
May 02, 2019 - Paroled back into the states with AP (Took <10 mins at secondary review)
May 08, 2019 - Conditional green card in hand

Thank you all for the words of encouragement and all the countless experiences shared. I would've never taken a leap of faith going for a honeymoon right after a gc interview if it wasn't for a few people who shared similar experiences and reassured me that it wouldn't be a problem. FYI I'd booked the tickets way in advance hoping to travel on AP, but oddly got the interview notice right before my travels. Let me know if you guys have any questions. Wish you all smooth sailing on your immigration process. God bless.
