Greencard Approved After NOID!
I just want to encourage everyone undergoing Adjustment of status.

Here's my timeline.

Came to the US in 2017 on a B2 Visa

Got Married in April 2018 to a USC

My Spouse filed I-130, I-485, I 765 & I 131 in September 2018.

EAD & AP Approved April 2019.
Interview Scheduled May 2019.
Attended Interview May 2019 with my lawyer and I paid him heavily.

Notice for Second interview Recieved in August 2019, My lawyer declined to attend the second interview with me because I refused to pay him another $1500.

Attended the second interview with my wife in Agust 2019 and damn it was a stoke Interview!

We were separated and the officer grilled me for 2 hours and asked tons of questions. It was really an embarrassing long hours. He asked almost a thousand questions.

He only spent 25 minutes with my wife and told us we will receive a notice in the mail in few weeks.

Then the long wait..several months passed by and nothing came .

I needed to renew my AP/EAD card and again the greedy lawyer demanded for $300. I decided to refile the EAD combo by myself and I got the card in April 2020.

Then in May 2020 a notice of NOID came in the mail. I opened the letter and over 30 discrepancies and false accusations was in the letter.

We started looking for a lawyer and all of them were very expensive. So we decided to answer the NOID by ourselves. We responded to the 30 discrepancies.

Attached new evidence, travels trips to South korea and Europe, property acquired together.

The lawyer told us we will be denied if we don't use him but we trust God and did everything by ourselves.

On June 9,2020, USCIS approved the I130 and I485.

The harrowing experience of over 2 years of difficulties have come to an end. The Journey was not easy. But God did it.

So guys, if your marriage is real, you have nothing to be afraid of. My wife refused to be intimidated or scared to defend me. She went all the way to defend her Nigerian husband!

God bless you all!
