Adjustment of Status - I-485

My spouse and I had our interview yesterday at the Greer, SC Field Office. It went by very smoothly and the officer was very forward and fair to us. He was happy that we were so organized with our original evidence and only asked us for updated pictures and forms with our new address. We were approved on the spot and my online status changed to “new card being produced” as soon as we left the office. Feel free to ask me any questions about what we sent them or what they asked us during the interview. Below is my timeline:

-08/14/2019: Priority date

-09/2019: Biometrics done

-11/21/2019: RFIE sent (birth certificate)

-12/10/2019: USCIS received response for RFIE

-01/03/2020: I-765 approved and card sent

-01/08/2020: EAD received in mail

-02/28/2020: I-485 ready to be scheduled for interview

-03/03/2020: Interview scheduled

-03/31/2020: Interview canceled (due to Covid-19)

-04/01/2020: ready to be scheduled for interview again

-04/15/2020: received unofficial white RFE in mail asking for Medical exam, proof of bonafide evidence, letters from friends and family, etc.

-4/20/2020: sent evidence to USCIS

-07/28/2020: Interview scheduled

-08/26/2020: attended and completed interview, new card being produced

-08/27/2020: I-130 and I-485 approval notice online
