H1 and H4 visa query
Hi! I am currently working in US and have my H1B permit. I am coming to India on Oct 25th and i will be there for only 20 days during which i will be getting married. To return to the US i will need to get my visa stamped at the embassy. For this I am going to take an online appointment right now as later on i might not be able to get it due to the high demand for US visas. The appointment date that i am taking is after my wedding. Is it permitted for me to take the appointment for my fiances H4 visa right now, even though we are currently not married but will be married at the time of the appointment? Can i add my fiances passport information along with mine, right now, so she and i can go for the same appointment and get both our Visas done at the same time, soon after our wedding?( I will have all the documents including the marriage certificate, photo albums, forms, employers letters, pay stubs etc.) Also,it is recommended on the US embassy website that the H1B holder(me) be present at the time of interview of the dependent applying for the H4 visa(my wife). If i do not take an appointment for her H4 visa right now then i might not be in India when she goes for her Visa. Please tell me how to go about with this.
