H1-B Visa
I attented interview on 23-July-2012 at 10:15 AM. It hardly took 1 hour for whole process along with 1-2 minutes interview.

Below is the interview conversation after I wished Good morning.

VO: In California, to which client you will be working?

Myself: Yes. (I got tensed and couldn’t get the exact question. I thought he asked me whether I am going to work in California?)

VO: He repeated the same question without understanding my answer.

Myself: Said sorry and answered my client name.

VO: What will you be paid at onsite?

Myself: Said roughly as per LCA

VO: Why are you going to US?

Myself: Currently I am working for the < client name > in < project name > and they want me there at onsite for next assignment.
(Prepared in a different way but as I answered wrongly for first question I couldn’t get it).

VO said my Visa has been Approved and will be couriered in a week.

I thanked him and returned back with my originals leaving the passport.

Do’s:
1. Be confident in your answers.

Don’ts:
1. Make sure you collect all your original’s. I was little confused for a while not knowing what all I left with them.

2. Don’t get tensed if you answer wrongly and don’t lose your confidence.

Thanks to this forum as it really helped me a lot.
