H1 B visa interview
Thanks for the wonderful forum.

It really gives me good guidance and mental strength.

My interview was scheduled on 7th Feb, 2011 @7:45 am. I reached the US consulate well ahead by 6:30

I was standing second in the queue. By 7:00 am, a security was calling Peoples for PAI who got their schedule @ 7:15 and 7:30

I waited there for 20 more minutes to get my call

Initially the following docs are verified at first door
1. Appointment letter
2. Confirmation page
A Token was issued at that counter.
Then physical security check then i was routed to
the next counter where the documents related to visa is verified and then finally finger prints.

Next comes the VO interview.
Be smart and with the gentle smile, i approached to him

Conversation

VO: (he was looking for some token # since that person is not available i was asked to go to the counter) then he asked

VO: who is ur client?
Me: YYYY YYYY
VO: Which is work location?
Me: XX
VO: Whats ur salary over there?
Me: YYYY X
VO: Whats ur highest degree?

Finally looking something at his monitor he asked me to place my middle finger
