Hi All,
I went to mumbai for H1 stamping in 18-Aug-08.
My interview time was 9.00 AM.
I reached there before 8. I availed the lounge facility and very much satisfied by the service.
They took us to consulate at 9:00.
By 9:30 I was inside and waiting for my turn.
They give pink slip (token) with number.
They call the token number from some counter and we have to present at that counter. You can also get snacks/ tea/coffee there.
Finally they called my token number at 11:45 AM.
Interview questions asked by officer.
1. I greeted him and he asked how r u doing ?
2. Through which company are u going?
3. Why do u want to go US ?
4. Who is the client ?
5. Where will you work in US?
6. Who is your current employer ?
7. How long have u been working with your current employer ?
8. What your job there ?
And then I heard the golden words "Your Visa is issued".
Within 24 hrs I got my passport at my permanent address.
Be prepared for the interview and take all the documents sent by your company.
