There's nothing to worry for H1B, if you have good documentation.
My interview was scheduled at 9AM, but I reached the Mumbai consulate at 7 AM and was already in the line. The initial security check and finger print scan took not more than 30 minutes. Then I waited for 10 - 15 minutes for my token.
My visa officer was a beautiful lady and as kind as her beauty. She didn't ask me for any documents and whatsoever.
VO: Hi Good morning.
ME: Hi ma'am. Good morning. How r u?
VO: I'm doing great. Thank you.
VO: Can i see your passport please.
ME: Yeah, I passed my passport on to her.
VO: So you r from YYYY company.
ME: Yes ma'am. I am.
VO: How long have you been with the company.
ME: 3yrs.
VO: ok. Who's ur client.
ME: ABCD.
VO: Did you get the booklet like this (pointing to the small white booklet).
ME: Yes ma'am. I did.
VO: ok. Your visa is approved. you'll get ur passport in 2-3 days. Thank you.
ME: thank you ma'am. Bye.
VO: bye.
She had a small smile all through. Which was comforting and got me to control.
All the best to all. There's no need to worry. U'll get through.
I dont know if i was confident or what ever. But i was on my nerves all the time and yeah, its good to be on your nerves. you'll be active. but dont panic. u can do it.
