H1B Dropbox Experience Hyderabad
Hello All,

I want to share my H1B drop box experience with all of you so that I might help

1. I filled DS-160 and booked appointment in HYD and I'm eligible for Dropbox, so I blocked an appointment for 9/9/2019 and dropped my doc on 9/9 (monday) they only asked my current and present petition (I-797), DS-160 confirmation, Passport and Photos that it ...
2. By 9/12/2019 (Thursday) I got a message saying that my passport is ready for pick up, I thought I got my Visa stamping done..
3. went to collect my passport and saw 221g and green slip, it says come for interview along with dependents passport between 10-11 am any day .. looking at that I was very upset..

Now the actual game begins...
1. On 9/16 I went to us consulate in HYD for interview.. I was at gate before 10am ..
2. their was a long wait at HYD when I went, they verified my Passports (H1 and H4) and then they took my finger prints and asked me to wait, at 12 noon I got a go at VO officer counter ..

I: GM mam (it was a lady VO officer)
VO: GM how are you doing
I: Doing great, thanks. How about you
VO: no replay, in mean while I gave my passports to officer.
VO: Checked in her computer for few min and asked where do you work
I: replayed
VO: asked Client Letter
I: I gave Client Letter, checked very carefully for few min and returned it to me
VO: What is your role
I: replayed my role (Note: tell the same role what is mentioned in your Labor)
VO: asked my current petition valid date
I: Replied and shown my current petition.
VO: checked for few min and returned it back to me
VO: do you know your right of employment
I: Yes, like, right to pay, equality, medical benefits, if I loose job they are responsible for send me back home.. and so on..
VO: Kept passports and said you can leave now.. (but she did not said my visa is approved)

this interview process went for decent 15min..

on 9/18 i got a message saying that your passports are ready for pick up.. I went on 9/19 to collect my passport and this time I got stamping done ...

Note: one thing I want to share about VO, there are no face expressions, no laugh, no smile, she looked bit angry... but finally I got my visa approved..
Be positive, unless you have all the required doc in place they cannot reject you..

-Vijay
