H1B, H4 Visa

Like most of the people, I made more out this forum before my H1B interview. Thanks for Immihelp an its members. I attended my interview at Chennai on 22nd October.

My interview was scheduled by 7.15 AM, but due to huge rush at the Chennai consulate, I got into the second building where the interview takes place by 9.00 AM. Even there, I could see a big queue. By 10.00 AM, I took the interview. The visa officer is a american(I assumed here) lady.

Me : GM, How are you doing?
VO : Fine, Thank You. Can I have your application.
Me : Here it is.
VO : You are working for XYZ in chennai.
Me : Yes.
VO : How long you are with XYZ.
Me : X years, Y months.
VO : How do you know about the company.
Me : Through my friend, he refered me to the company.
VO : Which project you will be working?
Me : (Here I dont have any client letter with me, neither the internal project document.) I will be working in ABC company (My US employer).
VO : NO, I'm asking will you be working with any of the clients of ABC company or internal project at ABC.
Me : No, I was told that I will be working in Commercial web applications, B2B, B2C projects. But I havent heard the name of one particular client. I'm heard that ABC company has QQQ, WWW, EEE, RRR as their clients.
VO : 1 min.
Me : Take your time.
VO : Fine, I'm Issuing you the visa, but.... your employer seems to have no projects, have this card with you, if you are not paid or put on bench, please call the number mentioned in the card.
Me : Sure, Thanks a lot.

I think it is the luck/gods grace that favored me. Since I have been to Kuwait regarding my project, I was bit tensed, eventhough I have been to USA on B1 visa, which I think an added advantage.

So, be confident, you dont get rejected, worst case is you might get query.
